  • A well established law firm is currently recruiting for a Transfers Paralegal to work in Bryanston office but also assist with any Cape Town transfers on a remote basis and must be available to start at the beginning of May

     Minimum Requirements
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in property transfers.
    • Experience with GhostPractice is a significant advantage (though not essential if the candidate has used a comparable legal system).
    • LexisNexis experience is required. Familiarity with Secure Chat and Lexis Tracker is beneficial but not mandatory.
    • Experience in bond registrations would be advantageous, as the candidate may occasionally assist in that department.
    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact professionally with clients and agents.
    • A vibrant and engaging personality, even if not necessarily outgoing

QC Inspector

  • The QC Inspector is responsible to ensure that all materials, components and assemblies received from suppliers meet the organisation’s quality, dimensional and specification requirements before being released into production. Inspectors act as the first line of defence against defective materials entering the manufacturing process, protecting product quality and production flow

     Minimum Requirements
    • Matric
    • Technical / Mechanical qualification or Manufacturing / QC-related diploma preferred
     • Additional training in quality inspection, metrology or engineering principles is beneficial
     • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection, materials inspection or manufacturing QC
    • Strong experience using measurements instruments (callipers, micrometers, gauges)
    • Experience with ERP/MRP systems for recording inspection data

     Responsibilities:
    • Perform visual, mechanical and dimensional inspections on incoming parts, assemblies and components using tools such as micrometers, callipers, gauges and templates
     • Approve or reject materials by confirming conformance to specifications
     • Examine components for defects in materials, workmanship, damage in transit, alignment, fit and functional accuracy
     • Record inspection results in logbooks, inspection reports and digital systems (ERP/MRP)
    • Initiate Nonconforming Material Reports (NCRs) for rejected or defective materials
     • Maintain accurate records of quality issues and update non-conformance logs
     • Communicate discrepancies, defects or supplier quality issues to procurement, engineering and production teams
     • Provide input on drawing reviews for dimensions, tolerances and quality criteria
     • Support corrective actions by providing feedback during internal and external CAR processes
     • Tag, label, quarantine or release material based on inspection results
     • Maintain organisation of inspection areas and ensure proper handling of inspected goods
     • Ensure all inspection processes comply with regulatory, customer and company quality standards
     • Suggest process improvements for inspection workflows and manufacturing processes
